What kind of hats does Wear Sassy make?

We make structured statement caps — the classic dad-hat silhouette with an adjustable back strap. Each one features an embroidered slogan on the front. Current styles include Go Ask Your Dad, Overstimulated, Margaritas & Mischief, Support Day Drinking, Immediately No, Got Bags?, Came for John Summit, and Definitely Sober.

What size are Wear Sassy hats?

All of our hats are one size fits most, with an adjustable back strap. They'll comfortably fit head circumferences from approximately 54 cm to 61 cm. If you're between sizes or have a particularly small or large head, message us before ordering and we'll let you know whether it'll work for you.

What are Wear Sassy hats made of?

Our structured caps are made from a lightweight cotton-blend twill with a cotton sweatband, an adjustable metal buckle or plastic snap on the back (depending on the style), and embroidered lettering (not printed — embroidered, so it won't crack or peel).

How should I care for my hat?

Spot clean with cold water and a soft brush. Do not machine wash — it will wreck the structured front panel. Do not put it in the dryer. If it gets wet, reshape it by hand and air dry away from direct sunlight.

Can I wash my Wear Sassy hat in the washing machine?

No. Please don't. The washing machine will ruin the structured front panel and warp the shape. Spot clean only.

Where does Wear Sassy ship from?

We ship from Australia. Every order is dispatched from our Australian warehouse — there are no mystery three-week waits from overseas fulfillment and no surprise customs charges for Aussie customers.

How long does shipping take in Australia?

We dispatch within 1–2 business days of your order. Standard shipping within Australia typically takes 2–7 business days depending on your location. Express shipping is available at checkout for faster delivery.

Does Wear Sassy ship internationally?

Yes — we ship to most countries including the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Canada. International delivery times vary by destination (typically 7–21 business days). International customers are responsible for any local import duties or taxes.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and chosen speed. We run free Australian shipping promotions regularly — sign up to our mailing list to hear about them first.

Returns and exchanges

What is your returns policy?

We offer easy returns within 30 days of delivery on unworn items in original condition with all tags attached. Simply email us at hello@wearsassy.com and we'll walk you through the process — no arguing required.

Can I exchange my hat for a different colour or style?

Yes. Reach out via email within 30 days and we'll arrange an exchange as long as the hat is unworn and in original condition.

Do you refund sale or limited-drop items?

Sale items can be exchanged or store credit can be issued. Limited drop items (like the Came for John Summit hat) are final sale unless faulty — they're limited for a reason.

Ordering and payment

What payment methods does Wear Sassy accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and Afterpay for Australian customers. International customers can use PayPal.

Can I pay with Afterpay?

Yes — Afterpay is available to Australian customers at checkout.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

We dispatch orders very fast (often same day), so if you need to change or cancel, email us at hello@wearsassy.com within 1 hour of ordering and we'll do our best. Once dispatched, we can arrange a return instead.
